The 15th Conference and International Vegan Festival in Bali

Bali, Indonesia — The World Vegan Organisation (WVO) recently concluded its successful 15th WVO Conference and International Vegan Festival in Bali, Indonesia. Hosted in collaboration with the Indonesia Vegetarian Society (IVS) and Vegan Society of Indonesia (VSI) Bali, the three-day event from October 17–19, 2025, championed the theme, “Vegan is good for you, for health and environment”.
The festival was held across two vibrant venues: the Taman Werdhi Budaya Art Centre in Denpasar and in the field of Fortunate Coffee Gunung Soputan-Denpasar. The dual locations welcomed attendees from around the world, reinforcing Bali's growing reputation as a global hub for veganism.
A Fusion of Insight and Inspiration

The conference sessions brought together an international community to discuss topics ranging from plant-based nutrition and health benefits to environmental sustainability and animal welfare. A notable presence at the event was Dr. Susianto Tseng, the Founder and President of the WVO and VSI, who highlighted the transformative impact of a vegan lifestyle.
Beyond the informative discussions, the festival captivated the public with a variety of engaging activities:
A bustling vegan food bazaar showcased a diverse array of innovative plant-based products and delicious cuisine from both local and international vendors.
Attendees enjoyed lively special performances, including music by Gus Teja.
Interactive events such as vegan cooking demonstrations, yoga sessions, healthy exercise classes, and children's coloring contests ensured there was something for everyone.

Demonstrating a commitment to social responsibility, a public blood drive was organized in partnership with the Bali Provincial Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).
Bali's Role as a Vegan Hub Supported by local businesses and international networks, the festival demonstrated how the vegan movement unites communities across cultures and continents. The collaborative spirit of the event underscored the mission to educate and inspire individuals about the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle for personal health and global well-being.The successful gathering further solidified Bali’s position as a center for vegan living and a leader in sustainable tourism.
