World Vegan Organisation was founded in 2018 to connect vegan communities, organisations and leaders across countries and cultures.
Since then, WVO has grown through international conferences, community gatherings, education, partnerships and regional collaboration.
A growing global movement
Each chapter of WVO’s journey reflects the same purpose: bringing people together around compassionate living, health, sustainability and respect for all life.
The 19th WVO Conference & International Vegan Festival in Palembang, Indonesia, held on 21–24 May 2026, continued that journey by bringing together communities, advocates, entrepreneurs and the public.
